Celebrate Y.O.U.

Celebrate Y.O.U.

• Are you ready to celebrate you?
• Have you never given yourself a pat on the back?
• Did you know simply celebrating yourself can propel you into happier healthier daily lifestyle?

Do YOU

These 3 questions are very important and we’re going to cover them and I’m going to give you 3 main reasons why you should celebrate yourself every day.

Here’s the reality, we live in a very fast paced world, we are taught that “accomplishment(s)” mean getting as much done in a day as humanly possible. With this mentality too, many of us don’t take the time to reflect on our accomplishments, so in turn we feel depleted, spun out and unhappy… WOW!!

Question: When was the last time that you stopped and took a moment to celebrate and reward yourself? Are you struggling with this notion or answer?

Here it is in a nutshell- When you celebrate your successes, it will motivate you to achieve more, which in turn will elevate your confidence even more/heighten your mood and outlook. Part of my morning ritual, I spend a moment everyday celebrating my life-grateful for the little things I accomplished the day before and being able to see another day… I find by doing this it puts me into a better mood/allows me to feel proud of  the little things I’ve accomplished, and it teaches me that I did a few things very well and have been blessed another day to try and accomplish my goals… How couldn’t that uplift anyone?

Here are my top 3 reasons:

1. IT REMINDS US TO ENJOY THE JOURNEY:
If you are constantly doing and not being, you will miss out on all the beautiful moments in life- You need to see the scenery which in turn will allow you to see your accomplishments. As people we tend to take life too seriously and we become so attached to the final outcome that we forget to enjoy the journey.

(Solution): Take a moment every day, stop what you are doing, celebrate, and savor (completely enjoy) the moments. When you learn to find joy in the journey, the destination feels all the more worthwhile.

2. IT REMINDS US TO BE GRATEFUL:
Gratitude (It’s the quality of being thankful or being ready to show appreciation) is the key to living a happy and fulfilled life. It’s one of the greatest gifts that we can give ourselves. Celebrating yourself means taking the time to be genuinely grateful for your life. It’s easy to lose this focus but, in doing so you short change yourself..

(Solution): Instead of celebrating only your highs, acknowledge the small accomplishments, appreciate what you achieved and allow yourself to be happy in that moment.

3. IT INCREASES OUR CONFIDENCE:
I know many have limiting beliefs about themselves in at least one area of their lives, which results in a decrease in confidence. The more you celebrate yourself, the more your confidence levels will rise. See, what you may not realize is, that when you do so, you are telling yourself that you are unstoppable, which in turn attracts more positive energy into your life. Not only does it motivate you, but it motivates others looking on and helps them to reach out for a better attitude.

(Solution): Be proud of who you are and what you have accomplished… By doing this you allow yourself to step into your power once you master these skills.

These are my 3 reasons why it’s important to celebrate yourself every day!!
